An unprecedent week lies ahead.
For every single relationship you lead.
Your resilient leadership will be needed.
It will be put to the test.
· Consciously commit to connected conversations
· Communicate with influence whilst understanding what’s important to the team
· Choose an approach for engaging those whose thinking & behaviour is different to yours
· Continue to learn, experiment & fail as you adapt & adjust while working remotely
· Creatively encourage resilience well-being activities
· Commence a daily & weekly agenda to provide structure to enable self-leadership & accountability
· Check in with other Leaders to share, learn & adapt practises
· Micromanage teams with incessant check-ins to purposely check-up on activity
· Be unclear with expectations for immediate change & increased performance
· Be insincere, insensitive, uncaring & unthoughtful for people’s reactions to changed expectations
· Overdo your strengths & cause conflict with your team
· Ignore you’re own well-being
· Expect everyone to immediately adapt and agree
· Operate as if it’s business as usual ignoring that everything has flipped on it’s head
Maybe too many.
We’re all hoping that we can make it work.
So, let’s realise we’re human.
That’s it’s OK to reach out for help.
