These two components will lift your leadership or let you down.
EMOTION – everything you do is based on EMOTION – you react or you respond
EXPERIENCE – your past will travel with you or you’ll make it up
When leading a team, you feel EMOTIONS in every interaction which then creates EMOTIONS in others.
These EMOTIONS will trigger EXPERIENCES, from your memory or your mind.
In a book addressing stress, Burnout, by twin sisters Emily & Amelia Nagoski, they explain that our EMOTIONS are tunnels.
There is always a light at the end of the tunnel …. yet, we often get stuck in the tunnel.
This prevents us from delivering on the elements of LEADERSHIP.
Seeing the light is delivering on the elements of LEADERSHIP.
Our mind can support us or make us suffer.
We fall back on EXPERIENCES to engage in relationships.
And our mind often doesn’t know if our EXPERIENCES have occurred physically or just in your mind.
If your experience won’t serve the future well, then create a better EXPERIENCE in your mind.
Focusing on your EMOTIONS & your EXPERIENCES will enable you to EVOLVE in your LEADERSHIP.
