Have you seen the YouTube which has the single guy dancing at the festival and others start joining him? It seems silly and if a few of you view it together it’s bound to generate laughter, so much so, some miss the key messages by the narrator.

However, the visual itself is loud enough – you witness a second guy joining the dancer who quickly finds his feet and his own dance and very quickly others join in.

Whilst we might learn something about dancing itself, there are several other lessons - one of which is not always obvious in your Leadership Quest. Followers are critical. They are quite possibly more important than you. I’m treading carefully here – you may have not considered this proposition!

No matter what your role is, if you spark an idea and share it, you are a generous person, consequently, if people follow through with the idea, your Quest is creating momentum and together you’ve started something. The question is: Who is willingly following you?

You many not wiggle your arms, legs and bottom and have a captive audience at your feet, however, you do have your own type of ‘dance’. Have you ever considered your leadership as a dance?!
