People who feel Lifted
- Turn their Camera on & Unmute their Microphone
- Share their calendar to make time for others
- Send ‘thank you’ notes (for Care packages received)
- Listen more & feel safe to ask questions
These are the responses to this question:
What actions do you take when you feel Lifted?
When you Lift People, you Lift their Performance.
It’s an enviable equation.
The more you Lift, the more engaged & connected people feel & then act.
So how are you Lifting your Leaders, to Lead?
And how are you Lifting your Leaders, to Lead remotely?
Are you leaving it to chance or are you leading by role-modelling?
These three practices were shared proudly by a team who felt Lifted by their Team Leader:
1. Asking them for their preferred meeting/connection times – on a regular basis.
2. Short focus meetings rather than long weekly meetings – allocated 15 minutes, rotate moderators, being prepared
3. Blocked ‘no noise’ time to focus - no meetings/calls/texting/came
Lifting Leaders is about Lifting Leadership to lead your organisation.
