Ignore them or invite them
Facts have a function
Your voice, behaviour, habits & actions are all facts.
Facts that others use to determine what’s important & unimportant to you and themselves.
Whether they are right or wrong, it’s human nature to be judgemental.
Facts have a function in your relationships.
You can use them as cues clues and codes to interpret others.
Or you can choose to ignore the evidence and trigger friction.
So, what can you do to ensure the facts are indeed factual?
Tip #1 TALK ABOUT YOUR FACTS
🌐Help others confirm or change their judgement by raising the subject of how they see you.
🌐Talk about why you behave in certain ways and why you make decisions.
🌐Be clear about what annoys you and why your behaviour changes.
Like the dashboard in your car, choose and use the signals which help people understand what’s really important for you and why you’re doing what you’re doing.
