THE GREAT RETURN
It’s been almost two years since working from home became the norm.
It was the quickest workplace adaptation I have seen.
And now the change is about to be undone.
The great return is upon us.
Last week, I spent my first two whole days in a Sydney office, and I was placed adjacent to the kitchen! It was a wonderful spot as I was able to hear the hum of the many tea-making microwave conversations – it was like music to my ears.
How prepared and ready are you to be the leader that can straddle the hybrid office set-up?
How will you help your team with their workplace mojo?
Think about your team’s motives and the strengths they need to use to feel fulfilled as a member of the team in their role at work – in person.
And importantly, what key strengths your role as leader will need to demonstrate.
For the past two years, your strengths usage could have been different to those that you need to be working around others in your workplace.
Which strength will your team want you to use?
Enjoy the great return and ensure you invest time in yourself to be the leader they need you to be.
