The Language of Leadership - The Letter J

I was stumped with the letter ‘J’ until I noticed what I was using.

A JOURNAL.

I was emptying my thoughts & feeling onto a page in attempt to make sense of them. Or, as I see it, tuning my mindset & feelings for the day.

Then, JUDICIOUS appeared on my screen. Saved by Carin Owen

Leaders as Mentors require a wise approach when sharing advice & information. Pause before you respond & take a JUDICIOUS approach.

Our multiple roles require the skill of JUGGLING; knowing how to prioritise what’s important & what to say “No” too.

To JUGGLE is to confidently allow your values to drive your choices.

The seriousness of COVID requires the weight we’re all carrying to be lifted - Carin Owen also offered JOVIAL. We so need to balance life with happiness.

So, what brings you JOY?

Is it your work, your passion, your family?

How you approach your work, flows to our team – be JOYFUL (when appropriate) and watch your teams spirits lift too. Thanks Fiona Tibballs

Be responsible for creating a space which feels JOYFUL in the work you do.

And hit me your Ks … my list is small!
