Five Leadership Lessons for Women

Five Leadership Lessons for Women

Listening and discovering.

That sums up my activity over the past few days.

I’ve been immersed in the company of awesome women, with the role to ask them about leadership.

And I must share five immediate lessons for women, from women who are talking from experience:

🔹Get out of your own way
Women are their own hurdles whilst they continue to doubt their own ability.

🔹Find your voice
Know what is unique about you and determine your passions and then let others know by being visible about this passion.

🔹Find your Women’s Club
Let other women help you, guide you, teach you and be there for you to catch you when you fall or celebrate your success.

🔹Don’t bow to the biases
There are too many biases that prevent women progressing in their careers. Keep moving past these biases to seek out the solutions to your problems.

🔹Don’t accept NO
Create your own competition to hear as many No responses as possible. The more you hear No positions you closer to hearing a Yes.

What did you discover this week that will help your leadership?
