I’ve been immersed in the company of awesome women, with the role to ask them about leadership.
And I must share five immediate lessons for women, from women who are talking from experience:
🔹Get out of your own way Women are their own hurdles whilst they continue to doubt their own ability.
🔹Find your voice Know what is unique about you and determine your passions and then let others know by being visible about this passion.
🔹Find your Women’s Club Let other women help you, guide you, teach you and be there for you to catch you when you fall or celebrate your success.
🔹Don’t bow to the biases There are too many biases that prevent women progressing in their careers. Keep moving past these biases to seek out the solutions to your problems.
🔹Don’t accept NO Create your own competition to hear as many No responses as possible. The more you hear No positions you closer to hearing a Yes.
