SPRING SKILLS

SPRING SKILLS

The race to be a part of The Melbourne Cup Spring Carnival has commenced.

It’s the horse race that stops a nation. A three-minute horse race that occurs on the first Tuesday of November at 3pm (ADST) - 1st of November.

It’s about hats, champagne, frocks, socks or no socks!

If you love this time of year, you’ll be savouring the design of your wardrobe, managing your social diary, and looking for racing tips from the pros.

These three transferrable skills, designing your image, managing your time and advice seeking will take you to your desired destination beyond the Spring Carnival:

🏇How you design your image can change how you feel about yourself and how others feel about you; it can help you flip your mindset, influence others and create boundaries between how you feel at work and your social home life.

🏇Managing your time and planning your diary is how ideas progress to action. Busyness is a distraction and often it’s how the important stuff gets forgotten. As someone once said, fail to plan, plan to fail.

🏇Everyone has tips, however it’s the professionals who have better experienced tips. Those that are obsessed with what they do well are people to know. Taking the time to reach out to seek ideas, advice and support will push you closer to your desired success.

Spring is the season for transition – to take integral steps and make choices to experience a change.

You have six weeks to prepare for the new summer season and less time to participate in the Spring Carnival.

How prepared are you?
