When is it OK to not talk about feelings?
When is not OK to not be curious or concerned about peoples' feelings?
Feelings are the most normal occurrence we experience every minute of the day.
The discussion of feelings and labeling feelings was of great interest to the people at my Emerging Leaders workshop yesterday.
Increasing emotional literacy and expanding empathy into everyday practices were added to their leadership toolbox.
Is there ever a time when it's not OK to talk about feelings?
From what I'm observing and hearing, now is the time to check in and ask people "how are you feeling?" and stay in the conversation.
