This week’s author educated me about living in South Africa, reminding me of the culture of apartheid and without knowing any other life, you’ll do anything to survive.
Trevor Noah, known for his comedy, emphasised that we all have a collection of survival and resilience stories providing a quick history lesson about who you were, are and could be.
Many years ago, I considered extending my services to emceeing funerals. My research included slipping into the back of the crowd watching people’s reaction as I listened to peoples’ life stories being shared.
When have you recounted a story from your past?
This skill is essential for contemporary leaders and I’m looking forward to hearing people share their stories during this week’s leadership intensive.
