What are you PRACTISING?
From the putting green to the green screen of hybrid working, what new behaviours are you practising?
In my game of golf, I am practising three actions to fix my putting.
If I practise, I’ll eventually create a new behavioural approach.
What are you practising?
What are you consciously aiming to do better, differently or deliberately ceasing in your leadership?
One of my clients is practising ARRIVING EARLY TO MEETINGS (in person and online) – 10 minutes of social connection to uncover the invisible conversations - how people are feeling, about their health and wellbeing.
Three actions:
· altering the time of meetings to enable movement.
· Adding reminders to alert attention to the time.
· Asking others to do the same to hold each other accountable.
And here are my three PRACTISING tips:
1. Only practise three new/tweaked/altered behaviours at any one time.
2. Record results, feelings, and impact in your journal (please do this)
3. Ask a confidant to give you feedback about specific behaviours you’re practising.
