Be Strong - Borrow the Strength of Forceful

Being FORCEFUL

It’s one of those STRENGTHS that needs explaining.

Few people leap at it and many avoid it.

Think of someone who you consider is strong, who acts with conviction and often takes the lead. They may appear insensitive at times in their pursuit of challenges and opportunities … thought of someone?

FORCEFUL is a performance-based STRENGTH and its description includes the words power and drive.

We all have this STRENGTH of FORCEFUL lurking within us, it’s useful for different reasons, in different situations and importantly in our relationships.

You may draw on FORCEFUL to:

·       protect someone’s welfare

·       clarify a point when you know you are right

·       minimise resistance and get people to follow you

·       get others what they need

·       relentlessly pursue a goal

·       get cooperation

·       defend the rights of others

See, we all use FORCEFUL at times – it’s a STRENGTH to drive change, help others and help yourself.

And yes, there is a dark side!

The intensity of FORCEFUL can be observed as DOINEERING. A bit bossy!

However, I tend to help many clients to become more FORCEFUL to ensure they achieve their goals, aspirations, and dreams.

If you’re curious to understand where FORCEFUL is in your portrait of STRENGTHS, type FORCEFUL in the comments section and I will provide you a complimentary Relationship Intelligence (RQ) assessment.
